File 3: The Case of the Pillaging Pirates

INTERIOR GRANNY EVE’S KITCHEN

GRANNY EVE (with her ear to the 1930’s radio): Wait? What? Clive is on the loose again? Stealing electrons? Does he have his gnarly sidekick gNat with him?

RAY (walking up to Granny): Who is gnarly, Grans? I’d like to meet anyone who is gnarly!

GRANNY EVE (shook): We thought we had Clive contained. Behind bars. For good. Now he’s on the loose, and he’s stealing electrons! Someone must stop him!

RAY: Don’t look at me! I don’t know Clive, but he sounds pretty sinister and scary, just sayin’.

IN WALKS POPPI

RAY (pointing to Poppi): Send her!

POPPI: Send me where?

GRANNY EVE: I’m afraid I’ll have to send you both. The evil Clive and his gnarly sidekick gNat have heisted a pirate ship full of electrons. The world may lose its magnetism, not to mention it’s ionic compounds, if we don’t stop him….er, them.

RAY: PIRATES! FINALLY! YES! I’m in!

POPPI: We are?

Are YOU ready to help Poppi and Ray stop the sinister Clive from stealing any more electrons?
